Description

A nail is a horn-like structure at the end of a person's (or an animal's) finger or toe. Nails grow at an average rate of 3 millimeters (1/8 inch) a month (as they are a form of hair). Some people will have a habit of biting their nails and some will grow nails because longer nails are considered more fashionable.
