Jar
Description
A jar is a large, approximately cylindrical container made of glass or clay, or plastic. There are many types of jars. Mason, Kilner, Cookie jars are used to preserve foods. Canopic jars were used by Ancient Egyptians during the mummification process. Specimen jar is used in anatomy to preserve anatomical specimens.
