Duck

Description

Ducks are mostly aquatic birds, mostly smaller than the swans and geese, and may be found in both fresh water and sea water. Ducks feed on grasses, aquatic plants, fish, insects, small amphibians, worms, and small molluscs. The elongated and broad body plan and the strong scaled legs which is set far back on the body, makes them float on the water body like boat.
